ONE OF OUR VOLUNTEERS HAS PASSED AWAY!! and we need your help. Susan Joy Miller passed away March 25, 2012 at 12:46pm at Wesley Hospital. She is survived by her husband Gary Miller and 4 ferrets that were their kids. They had no insurance and can not afford a funeral its going to cost $1500 for the least expensive cremation and $5000 for a burial funeral with the least expensive coffin. We are asking if you can help by donating through our pay pal account or you can call Deborah Long-Torren 316.204.9517.
Update:
Due to a change in the price Susan Joy Miller will be cremated and a memorial will be held Friday 3/30/2012 @ 11am location will be the South City Baptist Church on Galena.
If you are needing a ride to the funeral please contact Deborah.
Starting April 2, 2012 we will be doing food pantry more often since South City Southern Baptist Church will no longer be doing it. We will be at the office handing food out Monday - Thursday 11am - 3pm.
We also have computer classes on Tuesday's and Thursday 3pm - 4:30pm. Even if you don't participate in the computer classes they are available for you to check your email and search for jobs

CLOTHING
BHM operates a clothes closet. We accept clothing
for men and women.
MONETARY
Monetary donations are always lovingly and
graciously accepted. We use the money to meet needs
that are not provided through non-monetary
donations. Please prayerfully consider your gift.
OFFICE SUPPLIES
We are always in need of stamps, copy paper, laser
address labels, printer cartridges, legal pads, post
it notes, pens, pencils and binder notebooks.
SPIRITUAL NEEDS
Pray for God to raise up mentors and volunteers.
Pray for financial and material resources. Pray for
staff and volunteers.
